Angel Day - November 25, 2021

“An Angel in the book of life wrote down our baby’s birth -
She whispered as she closed the book, ‘Too beautiful for earth’”

We did everything we could to meet our girl in this life when we found out she was in distress- she fought so hard and we were so close, but it just wasn’t meant to be. 16 hours after starting an induction of labor our Josie passed this Thanksgiving night. 2lbs 12oz, 15in long, she was beautiful in every sense of the word. She has her daddy’s nose, mommy’s lips and feet (specifically the big toe). The hours we were able to spend with her after delivery were so incredibly special and moving- we will never forget those moments.

It’s impossible to put into words what the past few months and especially the last couple days have felt like and have taught us. In such a short amount of time with our girl we have been unimaginably impacted and our lives forever changed. Josie has taught us how much strength and love is really possible within ourselves, found from each other and through our amazing support system of friends and family. We are so lucky for so many incredible people through this process- and we’ll never be able to thank them enough.

Josie Lea Ann, although we were not able to meet you in this lifetime, we await the time we can hug you, hear you and look into your eyes. You are forever our beautiful, wonderful, baby girl. We love you always
