Josie’s First Angel Day

November 16, 2022 - Josie Lea Ann’s first Angel Day is approaching- November 25th. Since the moment we left her grave, I’ve been dreading this day the most.

If things were different, we’d be preparing to celebrate a first birthday, a full year of wonderful memories and growth and moments we’d hope we wouldn’t forget. Instead, we are mourning a year without our Josie. A feat a year ago I imagined would be near impossible to live through.

On a positive note, we do have a full year of memories of kindness and love from those around us. People who we knew, some we didn’t who picked us up and helped us on the journey to repairing our broken hearts. We are grateful. So grateful.

In the spirit of this kindness, although I will still mourn on her Angel Day, as I do every day without her, I will seek to bring joy to others dealing with a loss like ours. After nearly a year of selling bracelets and angel ornaments, I have 50 angels to donate to individuals suffering without their babies to hold.

Please help me spread the word so this message may find those who might find comfort in one of our angels. At all times on our website, requesting an angel is free with a $3 shipping fee. However, in honor of Josie’s Angel Day, I will be sending these 50 angels out completely free of charge, thanks to so many wonderful people who have donated to our cause in the last year.
